This position is responsible to ensure the accuracy of financial records and related reports by performing analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and monitoring work for financial contract compliance, working within the limits of organization policy and contract requirements.

This position provides leadership in Space Florida’s evaluation and pursuit of opportunities related to new and emerging space markets and related advanced aerospace and space systems and technologies. This position is responsible to identify, prioritize, and shape strategic opportunities to strengthen Florida’s leadership role in advanced space markets and technologies.

This position works to integrate Environmental and Safety programs and initiatives seamlessly into daily operations across the entire Space Florida organization. This position will primarily focus on Environmental requirements, programs and is responsible for permitting, NEPA compliance, coordination and collaboration with Federal and State agencies and regulators. Position will include monitoring, reporting, and mitigating the presence of hazardous conditions to ensure a safe and sustainable work environment for Space Florida employees, and the successful implementation of Space Florida projects.

The Policy Analyst will play a crucial role in evaluating, developing, and implementing regulatory and non-regulatory policies for Space Florida. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring that all policy initiatives are legally vetted, align with the organization's goals and objectives, and positively impact the aerospace industry. The Policy Analyst will conduct thorough research, analysis, and evaluation of existing and proposed policies, legislation, and regulations to recommend necessary changes and improvements.

This position is responsible for overseeing the coordination and management of a group of related projects to ensure the program produces the desired benefits to Space Florida by ensuring the outputs and outcomes of the program components are delivered in a coordinated and complementary manner, with accountability through the entire life cycle from deal inception through project initiation, through transition to ongoing operations. This position will apply knowledge, skills, and principles of program management to achieve the program objectives and to obtain benefits and control not available by managing program components individually.

This position is responsible to oversee and ensure the technical quality and overall success of Space Florida Spaceport capital projects. The Project Engineer acts as the technical subject matter expert to lead engineering projects involving design, studies, building and refurbishment activities, working within contractual framework. The position requires engineering knowledge and judgement in scoping, budgeting, managing, organizing, executing, and reporting on projects in accordance with Space Florida’s Spaceport capital improvement and master plans, guided by precedent and working within the limits of established policy.
