The 104,000 square foot facility is dedicated to supporting the United States’ Commercial Space Program with advanced science and engineering.

Launch and Landing Facility (LLF)

Development at the LLF ensures Florida’s leadership in the space economy and exploration will continue, bringing new capabilities and customers to the busiest spaceport in the world. Space Florida's LLF boasts one of the longest runways in the world at 15,000 feet. Under a 30-year agreement with NASA, Space Florida manages this facility, which is open to commercial customers.

Space Florida's Launch Complex 46 is dedicated to providing cost-effective launch capabilities, equipped with a Mobile Access Structure (MAS) designed to support a variety of launch vehicle types and sizes. This versatile, multi-use vertical launch site, equipped with a 7,000 square foot support building, two 185-foot tall Lightning Protection System towers, pad lighting, a wide-diameter robust flame duct, and an underground equipment room, is actively inviting launch and payload customers. With payload lift capabilities exceeding 4,900 pounds for low earth orbit missions, LC-46 represents an exceptional opportunity in aerospace launch services.

The Operational Storage Facility, located at Camp Blanding, Florida, is managed by Space Florida on Florida National Guard property, providing 69,560 square feet of storage space across 56 acres. Originally built for Lockheed Martin's Titan IV rocket motors, the facility now serves United Launch Alliance for Atlas V rocket motor storage.

Reusable Launch Vehicle Hangar

Located near the Space Florida Launch and Landing Facility, the 50,000 square foot Reusable Launch Vehicle Hangar (RLV) is designed to accommodate large aerospace projects and operations. Initially intended for the X-33 and X-34 programs, it now supports diverse activities, including housing high-performance aircraft operated by Starfighters for NASA contracts, air shows, and tourism.
