(June 1, 2021) – Florida Venture Forum has selected 20 companies to present at its 2021 Aerospace Innovation & Tech Forum, taking place via virtual web platform, June 10, 2021.The 2021 event will be the sixth annual aerospace-focused conference the Forum has hosted in partnership with Space Florida, and is being supported by sponsors including title sponsor Florida Power and Light and its incubator 35 Mules, and also by Foley & Lardner, Haskell, Dysruptek and Spaced Ventures.
Ben Patz, Florida Venture Forum board member, head of the event selection committee and managing partner of DeepWork Capital stated, “Florida’s aerospace sector growth is expected to continue to accelerate over the next several years, powered by a new commercial interest in space and technological advancements that support it. This forum displays an ever-expanding collection of impressive and innovative companies for a wide audience of innovators, technologists, and investors.”In addition to virtual company presentations and other informational content, the virtual event will provide a total of $100,000 in cash awards presented to four winning companies, courtesy of Space Florida.
Presenting companies were selected by a committee of active venture investors and will present via webinar to an audience of investors, other deal professionals and aerospace industry leaders. The 20 selected presenting companies are listed below:

AerLogs, LLC., Delray Beach , their mission is to make advanced technology historically reserved for large corporations available to small and medium sized businesses. Aircraft Maintenance Records (AMRs) are a crucial part of the Aviation Industry not only for safety, but also for determining the value of an asset. A single shop visit for a commercial jet engine can produce over 6,000 pages of AMR, all of which need to scanned, organized, audited, and sent to the customer.
Capacitech Energy Inc., Orlando (www.capacitechenergy.com/), the company is a pre-revenue company bringing a flexible and wire-shaped supercapacitor, called the CBC, to market. With Capacitech’s Cable-Based Capacitor (CBC) technology, a thin and flexible supercapacitor can be connected into the product or system’s wiring infrastructure rather than be restricted to a printed circuit board residing in the space dedicated for energy storage products.
